PUBLIC NOTICES QUEENSTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL. INSTALLATION OF DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE SPECIAL LOAN AND NOTICE OF POLL. . PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Queenstown Borough Council proposes to proceed with the construction of works and procure and construct plant for the installation of Drainage and Sewerage in accordance with plans and Specifications prepared by H. G. Royds, Consulting Engineer and lodged at the office of the Town Clerk and to do all things relating and incidental thereto AND PUBLIC NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the said Council proposes to raise a special loan, particulars whereof are as follows: — I.—The purpose of the loan is to install a sewerage and drainage scheme and to procure property for the situation of septic tanks and to erect a pumping station. 2.—The sum proposed to be borrowed is £10,500. 3.—The security proposed to be given for the said loan is a special rate to be struck on the annual rateable value of all rateable properties in the Borough. Repayment of the loan is to be made by a sinking fund, details of which are to be arranged. , 4.—lt is not proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the same, or the interest and sinking fund for the first year. AND PUBLIC NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that on the 16th day of November, 1938, a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Queenstown will be taken on the said proposal. W. H. OVERTON, Mayor. 6533 C. M.
