WOMEN’S DIVISION
RYAL BUSH BRANCH Mrs Allen presided over a big attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the Ryal Bush branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union. A collection was taken up among members for the Makogai leper fund. Mrs Steele, of Waikiwi, gave an interesting demonstration on the making of mats. The results of the competitions were:—Article made from 501 b flour bag.—Miss Davidson 1, Mrs Burns 2. Best bloom. —Miss Davidson 1, Mrs Buxton 2, Mrs Davidson 3. The hostesses for the evening were Mesdames Burns, Bruce and Buxton.
