Flowers Can Be Worn In Many Ways At Night
Carnations are the best flowers for evening wear. They remain fresh for a long time and possess such a variety of colours. So designers have thought out some new ways of wearing them. Here they are:— A flower tucked into a velvet ribbon tied round the arm above the elbow, or at the wrist. Two flowers down the centre back seam of an evening-dress bodice. Flowers at the corsage of a strapless gown and fastened up the outer ribs of a large tulle fan. A tiny cap of ostrich feathers with a carnation tucked in at one side. A Victorian band round the throat with a carnation centre-front.
