On a charge ot keeping a common gaming house, Charles Hughes, a bootmaker of Winton, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court at Winton before Mr T. W. Brandford, J.P. On the application of the police he was remanded on bail to appear at the Magistrate’s Court at Invercargill on Tuesday.
