The Invercargill Male Choir is to present its final recital of the 1938 season on Wednesday night. In addition to a good variety of part songs the choir will sing three numbers in memory of tbe late Mr B. C. Galloway, a past conductor of the choir. The numbers conclude with the majestic “Hallelujah Chorus” accompanied by Mr L. S. Adam on the Hammond organ. Solo items will be given by Miss Leone Watson, the gifted young Invercargill soprano, Rev. N. F. Sansom (wellknown bass singer), Mr H. Joel (flautist), Mr L. S. Adam (Hammond organ), and the popular Harmony Four Quartette. The accompaniments are to be played by Mrs A. E. H. Bath. Intending patrons are advised to book early as the reserves are limited and are being rapidly filled, and this recital will be recognized as one of the best given by the Male Choir.
