PLAN FOR ALBERTA’S RETAIL TRADE
CENTRAL BUYING AGENCY SUGGESTED EDMONTON, September 7. The establishment of a central buying agency to purchase all the merchandise needed for Alberta’s retail trade is proposed in a plan prepared by Mr Keith Williams, of London, who was brought to Alberta by Mr William Aberhart’s Government. Mr Williams estimates an anuual saving of 22,000,000 dollars in this way. Alberta’s annual purchases amount to 150,000,000 dollars.
