ABYSSINIANS “STILL FIGHTING”
HAILE SELASSIE’S CLAIM SUPPORTED IN ROME

LONDON, September 9.
Haile Selassie, speaking at an. entertainment for ex-servicemen, said that the Abyssinians were still fighting for their independence and to vindicate the sanctity of treaties and of the League Covenant. The Rome correspondent of The Daily Telegraph says it is announced that 42 officers and other ranks were killed inAbyssinia in August.
