CHRISTCHURCH DAIRY MEN SUPPORT CONFERENCE

CHRISTCHURH, September 9. A decision to support the proposal of the Wellington Dairy Farmers’ Cooperative Association, Ltd., for a conference to be held in Wellington between Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin producers to discuss milk prices in the Dominion was made by the directors of the Christchurch Dairymen’s Society last evening. The meeting agreed to send two delegates, Mr J. R. D. Johns (chairman of directors), Mr S. G. Farquhar, and Mr A. A, Cooper (secretary) being nominated as its representatives.
