The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board advises that the following are the approximate average prices realized for the week based on actual transactioris, wholesale quantities and descriptions of meat mentioned and for representative parcels of goods offering during the week being for business done on the basis of delivery to Smithfield market and/or ex-London stores. The lamb market is very firm, with prices again higher, New Zealand consumption being affected by the low prices of Home killed lamb. Wethers are meeting with a better Inquiry, with lightweights dearer. The ewes trade is slow. The chilled beef trade is good this week, with little change in prices. The New Zealand porker pigs consumption Is improving, with prices firm. The New Zealand baconer pigs market is steady, with prices unchanged.
