A. DRURY WINS TIME TRIAL

Seventeen cyclists in a 25-miles time trial on Saturday found road conditions good and fast times were recorded on the outward trip to Woodlands with a favourable wind, but speeds were slower on the homeward section. The winner was A. Drury, who completed the course in lhr smin 45sec, and also won the sealed handicap from scratch. Speeds of up to 35 miles an hour were registered on the outward journey, but on the return trip the scratch riders forced the pace and completed the journey in good times.
