TODAY’S RECIPE
RICE AND MINCE SURPRISE 1 pound meat (raw or cooked). Cooked rice. Salt and pepper. Onion juice. J cup tomato juice or stock. Mince meat, season highly with pepper, salt and onion juice. A small quantity of pickles may be added. If the meat is uncooked saute or stew. Add stock or tomato juice. Line moulds with rice and fill with meat mixture and a layer of the cooked rice and steam or bake for half to threequarters of an hour. SARAH.
