Another popular Sunday evening concert was given by the Civic Band in the Civic Theatre, there being a good attendance. The band played marches, selections and hymns, Messrs Charles Trim and P. Linton Hodge leading the community singing of the hymns. Mr Frank Donovan sang with guitar accompaniment and four junior members of the band played as a quartet “The Sunshine of Your Smile.”
