DUTCH AIR SERVICE TO SYDNEY
FIRST AEROPLANE DEPARTS AMSTERDAM, June 28. The first aeroplane in the Amsterdam to Sydney service departed after a brief ceremony at which representatives of the British Legation were present Although the K.L.M. (Royal Dutch Air Lines) has no intention of racing Imperial Airways to Australia, the aeroplane is expected to arrive in Sydney about the same time as the Imperial Airways flying-boat Cordelia, though the latter departed from Europe two days later.
