GIFT EVENING AT TE TUA

FUTURE BRIDE HONOURED A successful gift evening was held in the Te Tua school on a recent evening in honour of Miss Ivy Horrell, who is shortly to be married. Mr I. E. Terry referred to Miss Korrell’s good qualities and asked her to accept the gifts. Mr R. Knowler also made a presentation on behalf of the Te Tua Tennis Club, and Miss Horrell replied. The evening, was spent in dancing, the music being supplied by Misses L. Knowler and D.. O’Brien and Messrs R. Eunson and P. Knowler.

Mr A. Whyte was master of ceremonies.
