PRINCESSES APPEAR IN UNIFORM
GIRL GUIDES PARADE AT WINDSOR CASTLE LONDON, June 19. Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret Rose appeared for the first time in public in uniform in the quadrangle at Windsor Castle. Standing stiffly at attention they took the salute as 1000 girl guides marched past. Princess Elizabeth as a member of the Kingfisher Company, wore a blue tunic and skirt and Princess Margaret Rose wore the uniform of a member of the Leprechaun Brownie Patrol.
