A cold rain fell in the second half, making play very ragged, but the home side, after being in the lead by three points, to nil at half-time,, scored 16 points in the second half to win by 19 points to nil Mr D. Brown, of Progress Valley, was referee. Tries were scored by Gregg, Donnelly, Connor, Scobie and Harvey, and Scobie converted two tries.
