The manager of the New Zealand Rugby League team reports that the team is fit, with the exception of Kay, who is stiff after yesterday’s run. It is unlikely that he will play here. The team was given a reception by the acting Premier (Mr Percy Pease) at Parliament House. The Kiwis have announced 17 names as a preliminary team to play against Queensland on Saturday. A threequarter, half and two forwards are to be omitted. . The names of the team are: J. Hemi, R. Brown, R. Chase, W. Tittleton, J. Smith, G. Midgley, W. Brimble, W. P. Brimble .Grotte, Tetley, J. McLeod, J. Broderick, Glynn, J. Cootes, G. Orman, W. J. McNeight, A. Gault.
