GENERAL NOTES From Wellington, the Union Company’s steamer Waitaki arrived at Bluff last evening. After discharging motor-cars and general cargo she will load cargo, including fish and timber for Melbourne. The motor-vessel Ranul (Mr J. W. P. Thompson, master) sailed for Stewart Island on Thursday with general cargo. The collier Kalmai finished discharging coal yesterday and sailed during the afternoon for Dunedin.

To discharge northern cargo, the Union Company’s steamer Wainui is scheduled to arrive here today from Wellington. From Bluff she sails for Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton. The Union Company's steamer Waipiata is expected here from Dunedin tomorrow with cargo from Auckland, including a consignment of sugar. She will sail again for Dunedin on Monday. J. E. Watson and Company, Ltd., report that the motor-vessel Westmoor is due at Bluff from the Seychelles Islands on July 1. She Is carrying a full cargo of guano. The Fordsdale, which had completed her loading programme, left Wellington on Wednesday morning for London. She will travel via the Panama Canal and Curacao.

The Tekoa was to leave Wellington yesterday morning for Auckland to complete her loading. She will sail from Auckland on June 23 for Southampton, London and West Coast ports of the United Kingdom, and Is due at Southampton on July 29. The Rotorua was scheduled to leave Wellington at daybreak on Thdrsday for London, via the Panama Canal. The Rangitane, which left Wellington on May 11, arrived at London last Tuesday. From Port Chalmers, the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Cumberland is due at Bluff today to continue Homeward loading. From Bluff she will go to Timaru to continue loading. The Union Company’s Intercolonial steamer Waikouaiti is due at Bluff on Monday with cargo from Sydney. She will continue discharge at Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton.
