GENERAL NOTES With cargo for discharge at Bluff, the Union Steam Ship Company’s trading vessel Walpiata arrived here from Dunedin yesterday. She will clear this port tomorrow, returning to Dunedin. From Dunedin, the Union Company’s trader Waimarino is due here on May 6. She will sail again the following day for Dunedin. • ■ The Shell Company advises that the tanker Paua is now due at Bluff on May 7 from Wellington and will discharge packed motor-spirit and oil. She will sail for Dunedin about May 10. , The Union Company’s cargo steamer Waiana Is due at Bluff tomorrow from Wellington and will sail the same day for Melbourne.” '' ' ' . , ' The Union Company advises that the Kaimai is now expected at Bluff on Friday from Westport, and will sail the same day for Dunedin,./ The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera left London last Friday morning for Auckland and Port Chalmers. She is due at Auckland about June 4. Advice has been received that the Naniwa Maru left Milke on April 26 for New Zealand, via Noumea. She is expected to arrive at Auckland on May 17, and will proceed to Wellington, Dimedin and Lyttelton.

To discharge the remainder of her Liverpool cargo the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Otaio is due at Bluff tomorrow from Dunedin. She will sail for Timaru about May 9.
