GIFT EVENING AT DIPTON
PRESENTATION MADE A social and gift evening was recently given at Dipton in honour of Miss Nan Mitchell and Mr Morrison Craig, of Dipton, whose marriage takes place shortly. There was a big attendance, and tiie evening took the form of a dance. Those who contributed items were Mrs A. Lindsay, Misses B. Mcßae and Cox (Winton), Master Ross Lindsay, Messrs G. P. Marfin and F. Tilley. The music was supplied by Mrs Dykes and Mrs Bailey (South Hillend), and Mr W. J. Leith was master of ceremonies. A lucky spot waltz was won by Mr W. Anderson and Miss Cox. Mr W. McRae asked the guests of honour to accept the gifts with the best wishes of those present. Mr J. Hall and Mr D. McCurdy also spoke and Mr Craig replied. Among those present were Mr and Mrs R.
