TOWN BOARD CLERK RESIGNS
DECISION AT WYNDHAM MEETING / The resignation of the town clerk (Mr F. J. Bogue) was accepted at last night’s meeting of the Wyndham Town.' Board. It will take effect from May 28. An impasse occurred later in the meeting when Commissioner L. Harper, who was acting as chairman, asked what was the position of electors who had tried to get on the supplementary roll, which closed that day, but could not do so because there was no one at the office during part of the day. The town clerk then tendered his resignation as returning officer. He was asked to remain in office,- but declined to do so. The board decided to meet this evening, when an opinion from its solicitors will be considered.
