GENERAL NOTES The motor-vessel Tamatea left Bluff yesterday morning for Stewart Island with sengers, mail and cargo and 1 returned the same afternoon. . . H. L. Tapley and Company have advised that the steamer Gale has been delayed in the north and will not now. reach Bluff until Saturday. With general cargo for Milford Sound, the motor-vessel Ranul (Mr J. W. P. Thompson) sailed from Bluff on Sunday. The schooner Britannia left Bluff yesterday morning for Dog Island with mail and returned later to the port. To discharge and load general cargo, the Union Company’s trading vessel Walpiata is due at Bluff today. She will sail again on Thursday for Dunedin. The Union Company advises that the Kalmai is now expected here on. Friday from Westport and will sail the same day for Dunedin. The Shell Company's tanker Paua is scheduled to reach Bluff on Thursday from Wellington to discharge bulk oil and motorsplrlt. She will sail about May 8 for. Dunedin. , From Wellington, the Union Company s Waiana is due to arrive here on Thursday and will sail for Melbourne the same day, In place of the Waitakl. The Union Company’s trading vessel Waimarino is expected to reach Bluff from Dunedin on Thursday and will return to that port the following day. To discharge the remainder of her Liverpool cargo the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Otaio is due at Bluff tomorrow from Dunedin. She will sail for Tlmaru about May 9. The Port Line steamer Port Dunedin is to leave Wellington finally today for London, via Cape Hom and Montevideo. The Blue Star liner Empire Star is scheduled to leave Wellington today for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers to continue discharge of her Liverpool cargo. The Union Company’s inter-colonial trading vessel Waikouaiti Is to leave Newcastle today and completes at Port Stephens, Port Kembla and Sydney for Bluff where she is due on May 10.
