GENERAL NOTES The motor-vessel Tamatea left Bluff yesterday morning for Stewart Island with sengers, mail and cargo and 1 returned the same afternoon. . . H. L. Tapley and Company have advised that the steamer Gale has been delayed in the north and will not now. reach Bluff until Saturday. With general cargo for Milford Sound, the motor-vessel Ranul (Mr J. W. P. Thompson) sailed from Bluff on Sunday. The schooner Britannia left Bluff yesterday morning for Dog Island with mail and returned later to the port. To discharge and load general cargo, the Union Company’s trading vessel Walpiata is due at Bluff today. She will sail again on Thursday for Dunedin. The Union Company advises that the Kalmai is now expected here on. Friday from Westport and will sail the same day for Dunedin. The Shell Company's tanker Paua is scheduled to reach Bluff on Thursday from Wellington to discharge bulk oil and motorsplrlt. She will sail about May 8 for.
