TAN, GREENS AND BLUES

COLOURS ON LAWN AT RIVERTON TWEEDS AND COATS AGAIN WORN Brilliant sunshine favoured the second day’s racing at Riverton yesterday. Tweeds and coats were again to be seen with a smattering of colour in London tan, greens and blues and a new colour called “clover.” Among those present were:— Mrs Banks, fawn tailored jacket and brown skirt, fawn felt velour hat. Mrs Geoffrey Giller, oyster tweed costume and black valour hat.

Miss Dorothy Willett, dark, green coat, green cavalier hat with orange quill and green shoes. Miss Constance Chaplin, navy blue costume and small navy halo hat. Mrs A. Rutherford, misty blue frock and blue hat.

Mrs Skelt, brown tweeds flecked with green, brown' hat. Mrs Alan Speight, navy blue and white checked ensemble, a navy halo hat and navy and white shoes. Mrs John Macdonald, brown angora costume, brown fur stole, matching brown hat. Mrs L. Cockerill, donegal tweed costume, tan jumper and matching felt hat. Mrs Hermann, light jade green tweed coat, with darker green skull hat. Mrs J. Gresson, black costume with” silver foxes, small black tight-fitting hat.

Mrs E. C. Tapley, navy wool crepe-de-chine frock with white front, navy halo hat.

Miss L. F. Watson, navy costume with white blouse, and fur stole, small navy hat.
