Firmer Undertone At Yesterday s Call-Over

There was a firmer undertone on the .Invercargill S oc Exchange yesterday morning. Government loans firns e firm with good inquiry for the 4 per cents. Banks were steady with a little more inquiry. Breweries were quie and unchanged. Little interest was taken in woollen companies’ shares. New Zealand industrials showed i e variation, but Commonwealths were brighter. Woolwor s in particular gained ground on receipt of the final dividend announcement and advice of a bonus issue of one m five.
