WOMEN’S DIVISION
BRYDONE BRANCH There was a fair attendance at the first meeting for the year of the Brydone branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union. Mrs T. Mawdsley presided. The roll call was “My most awkward moment.” The monthly competition, “A pot of raspberry jam,” resulted as follows: Miss Taylor 1, Mrs Edwards 2, Mrs Drysdale 3. Mrs Edwards gained first place in the flower competition.
