Mosley and Sons, “Riverslea,” Clydevale, has proved to be the pre mi A’ stud of Romneys in the South Island today. It has enjoyed a noted series of successes for years past at all leading shows in the South Island, and. at the 1934 Royal Show had the distinction of gaining Ist. and Champion and Reserve Champion for Rams and Ist and Champion and Reserve Champion for Ewes. “Riverslea” Romneys are noted for their constitution, wool and pure Romney character. At the Royal Show at Christchurch in 1936, “Riverslea” won the 50-guinea Gold Cup presented by Sir William Perry for the best woolled Romney Ram in the show. These outstanding show successes, it may be added, have all been achieved by “Riverslea” bred sheep. .This will be <one of the best opportunities that will occur this season to acquire Romneys of the highest class at auction.
