SWIMMING BATHS SOUGHT
REQUEST FROM RESIDENTS
AT OHAI
The Minister of Mines (the Hon. P. C. Webb) yesterday visited Nightcaps and Ohai, hearing private deputations at both places. At Ohai a deputation asked that swimming baths be constructed adjacent to the recreation grounds. The Minister said that if plans and specifications of the proposed baths were prepared and submitted to the proper authorities, he would, in conjunction with the other Ministers concerned, do his best to see that the. request was granted.
