Robert Hammqnd, a farm labourer, aged 21, yesterday appeared before Messrs J. Buchanan and J. H. Clark, Justices of the Peace, at Mataura, on a charge of issuing valueless cheques. On the application of Constable Brazier he was remanded to appear in the Magistrate’s Court at Invercargill today. Boys’ Cotton Washing Suits, 16 to 20 inch, were 5/9, Sale Price 3/6, Tomboy Overalls 2/9 at Miss Noble’s, The Baby Shop, Dee Street.—Advt.
