RUGBY, January 13. Sir Charles Gardner, who has been appointed first executive chairman of the Society of British Aircraft Constructors, has had a wide commercial and industrial experience, and is well known in the city for his work in rationalizing industry. His chief duties will be to interpret to the Air Ministry and the aircraft industry the views and wishes of each.
