Negotiations between Italian interests and the British Indian firm of Mohommed Ali, -which traded in Abyssinia, with regard to the disposal of the firm’s property, have reached an advanced stage. The Government of India has received assurances that no time limit for the firm’s leaving the country or the disposal of its property has been fixed, and that the authorities are closely watching Indian interests in Abyssinia.
