NEW DIVING SHELL INVENTED
ITALIANS GO 200 METRES UNDER THE SEA LONDON, January 11. The Rome correspondent of The Times states that the naval authorities at Spezia have concluded tests of a new metallic diving shell weighing 8801 b. It is rf a similar type to that used by the “Artiglio” divers and it is reported that repeated immersions to a depth of 200 metres were made. The previous maximum was 150 metres.
