DOMINION TOURS BY AUSTRALIANS
SOUTHLAND INCLUDED IN ITINERARIES Two parties of Australian farmers are to visit the Dominion this season and will include Southland in their itineraries, according to the Government Tourist Bureau at Invercargill. The first party consisting of 15 farmers from South Australia will arrive at Wellington on February 17 by the Awatea and, after visiting the principal attractions in the North Island, will cross to Christchurch the following day. Visits will be made to Mount Cook, Pembroke and Queenstown and the party will return to Australia by the Maunganui, embarking at Bluff on February 28. The second party, which will consist of 50 tourists, is to arrive at Bluff on March 13 by the Maunganui and will leave the next day for Dunedin after a tour of Southland’s popular resorts by car.
