TWELFTH NATIONAL THOROUGHBRED SALES
AT THE TRENTHAM STABLES. (During the course of the Wellington R.C.’s Summer Meeting). WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY, 19th and 21st JANUARY. CATALOGUES are now available from the Auctioneers for the Twelfth Annual Yearling Sales. The catalogue includes: 166 Yearlings 166 Yearlings These represent a total of over 40 sires and no stronger catalogue has ever been submitted. The percentage of winners sold annually at Trentham is the highest of any bloodstock sale in the world. The winners of this season’s N.Z. Cup, Derby, Oaks & Welcome Stakes and the Australian J.C.’s Metropolitan and Epsom Stakes were all purchased at these Sales as well as scores of other winners.
On the second day, a SPECIAL CATALOGUE of BROOD MARES, UNTRIED STOCK, RACEHORSES, etc. will be submitted. Present entries include:
40—HIGH CLASS BROOD MARES. 20—TWO AND THREE-YEAR-OLD FILLIES, GELDINGS, ETC.
Many of the Brood Mares have foals at foot, and have been mated with leading and well-known sires. The catalogue, which will be a particularly attractive one, is now being compiled; further entries are Invited by the undersigned.
