TENDERS FOR ERECTION OF HOUSES APPROVED
SEVENTY-EIGHT STATE DWELLINGS (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 21. Tenders for the erection of 78 more houses under the Government’s housing scheme have been approved by the Cabinet, according to an announcement by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary in charge of Housing (Mr J. A. Lee). They are for dwellings at Auckland, Eltham, Dunedin, Stratford, Gore and Hokitika.
