BRITISH WARNING TO ITALY
PROPAGANDA IN NEAR AND MIDDLE EAST (British Official Wireless) (Received December 21, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, December 20. . The Foreign Secretary (Mr R. A. Eden) stated in the House of Commons that he recently informed the Italian Ambassador to London •(Count Dino Grandi) that unless Italian propaganda in the Near and Middle East was stopped it would be impossible to create the atmosphere necessary to the prosecution of successful conversations designed to improve the mutual relations of Britain and Italy.
