GOLF Following is the draw for a stroke match to be played on the Gore Golf Club’s links this evening:—Gormack v. Thomson; Smith v. Mitchell; Wylie v. Turnbull; N. Young v. Sinclair; Milson v. Aitken; Steans v. Taylor; Tansley v. McGregor; Olsen v. Reid; Barron v. Hargreaves. PERSONAL Mr J. O. Browfi, who has been a member of the staff of the Magistrate’s Court at Gore for the last six years as bailiff, maintenance officer and inspector of factories, has received notice of his transfer on promotion to Invercargill. Mr Brown will begin his new duties early in January.
