MIMIHAU
At Mimihau the annual school concert was held and gift books were presented. Mr W. Frame, chairman of the school committee presided, and there, was a big audience. The programme was as follows:— Choruses, entire school; recitation, Margaret Sheehan; recitation, Elizabeth Dunstan; recitation, Gordon Frame; playette, infants; drill, senior girls, songs, infants; recitation, Linda Maude; chorus pupils; choruses, infants; playette, senior pupils; vocal duet, Edith Irwin and Margaret McMillan; choruses, senior pupils; recitation, Margaret McBride; recitation, Winifred Broad; Maori songs, senior pupils; vocal solo, Dorothy Irwin; chorus, senior girls: folk dance, infants; playette, senior pupils; parting song, entire school. Prizes were presented to the following pupils:— Dux of school. —Linda Maude. Form 2.—Class prizes: John Mcßride, Muir Thomson, Margaret McMillan, Edith Irwin, Ethel Broad. Form I.—George Mcßride, William Sheehan, Greta Millar. Standard 4.—L. McDonald, Ruby Frame, Margaret Mcßride. Standard 3.—John McMillan, Lance McDonald, Betty Ronald, Winifred Broad, Margaret McDonald. Standard 2. —Douglas Mcßride. Standard 1. —Colin McMillan, Gordon Frame, Dorothy Irwin. Upper primers.—lsla Ronald, Margaret Sheehan, Elizabeth Dunstan, Ewan Crosbie.
