FLYING-BOAT SERVICE TO DARWIN
TEMPORARY BASES APPROVED BY AIRWAYS EXPERTS DARWIN, December 20. The commander of the Imperial Airways flying-boat Centaurus (Captain Burgess) and the flight superintendent of Qantas Airways (Captain Brain) are both satisfied that the temporary bases available for flying-boats between Singapore and Darwin would be satisfactory if an immediate extension of the flying-boat service to Darwin was made.
