The National Boxing Association of America has suggested a complete rearrangement of the existing weight limits. Instead of the present eight divisions, they suggest nine, as follows:—Flyweights to be Bst 31b, instead of Bst; bantams Bst 131 b instead of Bst 61b; no featherweight class; lightweights at 9st 91b, as at present; welterweights at lOst 51b instead of lOst 71b; a new division at list lib; middleweights to be list 111 b, instead of list 61b; cruiserwights to remain at 12st 71b; a new division at 13st 31b, and the present heavyweight.
