SOAP FROM COAL IN GERMANY
NO FATS OR OILS USED (Received December 9, 6.30 p.m.) BERLIN, December 8. Toilet soap made entirely from coal is cn the market. It is claimed that it has all the properties of soap from fats and oils, of which Germany imports 1,000,000 tons a year, one-quarter of which is absorbed by soap factories.
