ITALIANS MAY LEAVE LEAGUE SOON
COMMON FOOTING WITH GERMANY
LONDON, December 8.
It is believed that Italy will shortly notify her intention of quitting the League of Nations as the result of pressure from Germany, says the Rome correspondent of The Times. Germany is anxious that Italy should be on a common footing if and when or before the Covenant is discussed.
