In the report of the Invercargill Horticultural Society’s annual flower show held on Tuesday the name W. G. Pearce should have been W. J. Pearce. The latest return of the State Placement Service shows that during the week ended December 4, 18 positions were filled in Invercargill and 11 in Gore. Since April 1, 706 positions have been filled in Invercargill and 399 in Gore.
