PICTURES PICKED UP BY LINER (Received October 30, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 29. Television was unprecedentedly achieved at sea when the Cunard White Star liner Britannia, 30 miles from the shore, picked up pictures from Alexandra Palace.
