CAR CRASHES INTO CATTLE STOPS (United Press Association) OAMARU, October 20. About 11 o’clock last evening a car when returning to Dunedin from the boxing match at Oamaru crashed into the cattle stops and rebounded into a telegraph pole at the railway crossing near Maheno. The driver, Philip Ruston, and the passenger, T. Gages, both of Dunedin, were seriously hurt and were admitted to the Oamaru hospital. Another passenger, John M. Richmond, of Dimedin, had a miraculous escape from injury. The car was completely wrecked.
