SUCCESSFUL BALL
WALLACETOWN SPINSTERS ENTERTAIN The Wallacetown spinsters held their annual ball in the Wallacetown Hall recently. The hall was decorated with maroon and white streamers and music was played by the Troubadours orchestra. The lucky spot waltz was won by Mr L. Gray and Miss V. Taylor. Messrs R. Gray and A. Jackson acted as masters of ceremonies. The committee consisted of Misses H. Jackson and B. Rhind (joint secretaries), N. Rhind, R. Jackson, J. Gray, J. Rhind, N. Gray, B. Jenkins. H. Rhind, N. Townshend, M. Parkinson, J. Scott, M. Parkinson, K. King, E. Gray, B. Buick and F. King. Among those present were, Mr and Mrs A. McDowell (green embossed satin), Mr and Mrs B. McNatty (pink velvet), Mr and Mrs W. Buick (cream lace over satin), Mr and Mrs A. George, Mr and Mrs D. Gunther (figured voile), Mr and Mrs J. McCallum (henna silk); Mesdames V.
