TEMPERANCE UNION
A spring collection of cut blooms and cuttings and seasonable shrubs, massed on the table and stage in the Grace street hall, gave the superintendent of reserves (Mr B. P. Mansfield) an opportunity of demonstrating and explaining the plants when he addressed a combined meeting of Women’s Christian Temperance Unions. The countries of origin of the flowers and shrubs were:—China, Japan, Mediterranean, Himalayas and so on. Mr Mansfield handed over his collection to be dis- 1 tributed The following contributed to the entertainment: —Mrs Lea and Miss W.
