FINANCING OF DAIRY INDUSTRY ACCOUNT
MEMBER DESIRES TO KNOW ORIGIN OF MONEY (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, September 16. Information about the method by which the Dairy Industry Account at the Reserve Bank has been financed was sought by Mr A. C. A. Sexton (C.P., Franklin) in a notice of a question in the House of Representatives today. Mr Sexton intends to ask the Minister of Finance (the Hon. W. Nash) whether he will ascertain from the Governor of the Reserve Bank (Mr Leslie Lefeaux) where the bank obtained the money to advance to the Dairy Industry Account and, if it was borrowed by the bank, from whom it was borrowed.
