FEARS ENTERTAINED FOR SAFETY (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, September 16. Fears are entertained for the safety of a married man, Joseph Watkin Hetherington, aged 60 years, a resident of Orewa, who put off from Arktes Bay early on Wednesday morning in a flatbottomed boat with the intention of making for Auckland. When last seen he was heading for Rangitoto Island and did not appear to be in any difficulty. The sea was calm at the time but Hetherington has not been reported since. » - ' . " 1
