POST AND TELEGRAPH OFFICERS’ GUILD
CHANGE IN CONSTITUTION EFFECTED (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 14. By its election of officers for the ensuing year, which took place today, the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Officers’ Guild now in conference in Wellington has effected a change in constitution in the provision for district representation. The new officers are:—President, Mr H. A. Colvin (Nelson), vice-presidents, Messrs S. A. Bennett (Auckland), R. A. Heron (Timaru); general secretary and editor, Mr V. B. Cade; treasurer, Mr O. J. Mullins; auditor, Mr J. Knight (Wellington) ; management committee, Messrs C. O. Coad (representing Nelson), F. F. Coira (Timaru), L. H. Steed (Dunedin), H. Custis (Auckland), A. L. Bell (Blenheim), C. H. Collingwood. (Wanganui), W. M. B. Veitch (Invercargill), A. L. Darby (Christchurch), L. A. Burns (Wellington), J. ,D. Mager (Hamilton), E. C. Hardie (Gisborne), O. L. Agar (New Plymouth), H. O. Boyens (Napier); C. E. Brian (Palmerston North), J. T. Rutherford (Greymouth). It is expected that the conference will continue until Saturday.
