MISSILE ENTERS CAR
LARGE HOLE LEFT IN WINDSCREEN While driving along the main road near Wrights Bush yesterday a motorist and his passenger, who were on their way to Nightcaps, received a shock when a missile entered through the windscreen, making a large hole, and passed between them, going through the rear window.
The driver and his passenger both were cut slightly by flying glass. There was no other car on the road at the time and no sound was heard until the missile, which is thought to have been a bullet, struck the glass. The car was stopped and an inspection was made of the adjacent country, but there was nobody in sight. An investigation is being conducted by the police.
